Substitutions
We will always do our best to fulfil your order exactly as you've specified. However, if we encounter seasonal changes or unavailability of certain flowers or items, we will substitute them with ones of similar value, colour, and style.
Delivery
Same day delivery is guaranteed around Dalby, when the order is placed by 1 pm weekdays (Brisbane time) and by 10:00am Saturdays. There is no delivery service on Sundays.
If we are provided an incorrect address, we are not responsible for the flowers/purchased items being delivered to the provided address. If the recipient is not present at the time of delivery, our couriers will leave the flowers in a safe location with a water source. If we are unable leave the flowers in a safe place or we are unable to gain access to the property, we will leave a note in the recipient's door or mailbox to notify them to collect their order in store. Please be aware if our couriers do not feel safe entering a premises due to a dog or unwelcoming occupants of the property, under no circumstances will our couriers enter the premises to complete the delivery. A note will be left in the recipient's mail box to notify them that their order will be available for pickup in store or the sender will be notified. Dalby Florist will make every attempt to accommodate your delivery request, but timed deliveries cannot always be guaranteed. Our delivery hours are between approximately 11.00am and 5.00pm. While we aim to have all of our deliveries completed by 5pm daily, sometimes there are situations that are beyond our control that might delay our delivery schedule. In these rare cases we will do everything we can to deliver your order within these time frames. If you wish to have your order delivered by a particular time, you are welcome to contact us on (07) 4662 3779, however, fees may apply for the use of a third-party courier.
Items with Alcohol
Alcohol delivery is subject to State Liquor Laws. The quantity of the liquor for each purchase cannot be more than 2L and, if the liquor includes spirits, the quantity of spirits may not be not more than 1L. The floral arrangement or gift basket must be delivered as a gift to an adult (over 18) other than the purchaser of the floral arrangement or gift basket. For this reason, we are unable to deliver orders containing alcohol to the person who placed the order, they must go to a separate recipient who is over the age of 18. The gift is to be delivered to a place other than the business where the sale was made. If you place an order online that contains alcohol, you are not able to collect it from our store, it must be delivered. The total value of the liquor and the container in which it is supplied may not be more than 75% of the gift’s sale price. Recipients of alcohol that appear to be under 25 may be asked for proof of ID before our driver is able to leave the delivery with them. We refuse the right to hand over the portion of the delivery that contains alcohol to the recipient if they are not able to provide appropriate proof of age.
Cancellations & Changes
For everyday orders, cancellations and refunds can be issued 48 hours prior to the delivery day. We are unable to offer a refund on the day of delivery as the flowers and gifts will already be in preparation or transit. To make any changes to orders please call:(07) 4662 3779.
Refund Conditions
Your special requirements and concerns surrounding your order are important to us. For that reason, we ask that you please call us directly on (07) 4662 3779 to discuss any queries or concerns you may have in relation to flowers sent or received. A number of resolutions may be available to you and are subject to your particular situation. Note: All refunds for orders placed online or over the telephone are credited back the original credit card on which the order was purchased. Refunds for in-store purchases may be processed through the original credit card for which the order was purchased or by EFTPOS only.
Regretfully, we cannot arrange a resend of fresh flowers or refund if the original flowers are disposed of, thereby making them unavailable for our florists to assess the cause of the issue. To rectify an issue, please provide a clear photograph of the flowers that you are concerned about so we can assess the quality properly. It can be difficult to assess an issue with a delivery if the photograph supplied is not clear, does not show the entire bouquet or is taken from an angle that does not reflect the true nature of the arrangement. If we believe that your flowers do not meet our standards, we will send you a replacement bunch at our cost or offer the sender a refund. This decision is at the discretion of the Dalby Florist management team. Your flowers will always last longer in the cooler months. We are unable to accept responsibility for heat affected flowers. Please refer to our flower care guide in our quick links to ensure you get longevity out of your flowers. We do not offer refunds for orders delivered outside the expected time.
Weddings & Major Events
Different terms and conditions apply to weddings and major events. Please note all brides are issued a quote and are given the opportunity to except the quote within the allocated acceptance time. If not accepted within this time and quotes do expire the existing quote then will not be honored. A date will only be secured once a deposit is made.
